Bastián Pascal González (He/Him) | #7 | Mexican filmmaker of independent animation. Two decades of making 2D animated shorts all on his own for film festivals and the internet. Some will make you haha, some may punch your soul. In the meantime he’s also worked on live action, teaching, press and, sure enough, a few comics. |
BurnedCoffee (He/Him) | #3 ; #8 | Burnedcoffee is the username of Alvaro Munoz Ruiz: animator, artist and human in progress. Recently he has been spending some time trying to hone his writing skills in secret until the day comes to unleash it onto the unsuspecting public. Juanele Tamal (He/Him) | #4 | Juanele Tamal is a Mexican physicist and part-time cartoonist, who started out in Mexico’s indie comics scene in 2007. Since 2011, Editorial Resistencia has published several of his comic books, starring either the little boy Moquito or his many funny animal characters, including Patote the duck and his cousins, Pato Blanco and Patas Negras, as well as Borola the dog and Chocolomo the cat. |
