Issue #3 OUT NOW!

2024, Free Culture for All!

Look, it’s a new year, and it looks like Fodongo is part of it! Thanks for being a part of Fodongo too!

For our first issue of the year we start out with a comic about young writer in the midst of a romantic adventure the likes of which has never been seen before, by BurnedCoffee; Federico Kempke then gives us a reflective look at his complex (to say the least) relationship with airports; then we have a comic about the role parenthood plays in adventuring, by returning artist Sprak; and finally we have the conclusion (?) of the Magical Singing Frog’s journey, by myself.

If you like these comics please share them with everyone you know, and check out our past issues: I’m sure you will find more comics to like there.

Thanks again for reading us, happy new year, and onwards we go to a year full of comics!

Fodongo Issue #1 OUT NOW!

Cover for Issue #1

Let’s make something, together, for everyone.

Hey!
Wow, you made it! Welcome to the first issue of Fodongo, a comics zine!
Thank you for coming. Please, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the next few minutes of reading through a thoroughly spooky grocery run (by Sprak); a creepy and short yet twisty horror vignette (by Zach Acherman); an overwhelming amount of notifications and social expectations (by Owen Twaites); and finally a weird space comic featuring a magical singing frog (by myself).
These are all original, 3-page comics specifically commissioned for this zine and released under Free Culture licenses, for your enjoyment and that of everyone around you. Done reading already? Read it again! Or share it with someone! Or tell someone else about it so that they can read it multiple times and share it as well!
Don’t forget to look at the artists’ bios at the back of the zine and check out their work! I’m infinitely grateful to them for agreeing to be a part of this project and contributing their wonderful talents and stories to it.
I am also incredibly grateful to you, reader, for checking this out! All the money made by this zine goes back into it and, more importantly, towards the artists who contribute to it! Reading cool comics and supporting artists are endeavors that everyone will agree are worthwhile, and you’re a hero for being a part of it. So. THANK YOU.
And speaking of being a part of it: don’t hesitate to create your own derivative works based off of what you read here; just refer to the back of the zine to see what the licenses used by each artist entail.
Ok, that’s it from me for now. Take care, and enjoy them comics!
